Modern Languages and Cultural Studies (MLCS) is the most international of all the departments in Arts. Our 38 faculty members--as well as our undergraduate and graduate students, contract instructors and visiting scholars--come from all parts of the globe. In MLCS, you will find poets, translators, folklorists, and linguists, as well as specialists in languages, literatures, and cultural studies.
